As of 2018, San Diego County has the 4th largest homeless veteran population in the United States. Far too many of these veterans are actually wounded warriors, suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury and/or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Wounded Warrior Homes provides post-9/11 veterans with these injuries much needed transitional housing, re-integrative support services, and a defined path to help them transition from active duty military service to independent living.
Our mission is to be part of the solution.
Our program is available to post-9/11 veterans of all military discharge categories, not just honorable, who are struggling with Traumatic Brain Injury and/or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Currently, we serve at least 20+ male veterans a year in our alcohol and drug-free program.
In the last 6 years, 75+ veterans have graduated from our program and we have a proven track record in the veteran community.
Great Non-Profits has given us a 'top rating' for the last 5 years.
